**Safety clarification: Normal charging means that the connected device, battery and charger operate as intended by their manufacturers. BrightZero® does not replace the battery management system (BMS) or the charger’s own protection functions, and it cannot detect every possible battery or charger fault. In abnormal or hazardous charging situations, follow the safety instructions provided by the chargeable device and charger manufacturers.

What is BrightZero® Smart Plug?
BrightZero® Smart Plug is a standalone plug-in solution based on BrightCharger’s patented technology. It is designed to help stop charging automatically after charging is effectively complete.
What kind of batteries is Smart Plug intended for?
BrightZero® Smart Plug is intended for charging lithium batteries.
Does Smart Plug need Wi-Fi or an app?
No. BrightZero® Smart Plug works as a simple standalone product with a simple activation and does not require Wi-Fi or an app.
Does BrightZero® detect faulty batteries or chargers?
BrightZero® monitors charging process from the power-source side and is designed to stop power automatically after normal charging is effectively complete. It does not monitor the internal condition of the battery and does not replace the device’s battery management system (BMS) or the charger’s own safety functions. It may therefore not detect every battery or charger fault.
What does “charging is effectively complete” mean?
BrightZero® typically stops charging at approximately 90–100% state of charge. The exact result depends on device settings, including optimized charging features, battery characteristics (including maximum capacity) and charger behavior.
Can I charge several devices at once with Smart Plug?
For best results, no. The guidance is to charge one lithium-ion powered device at a time. Multi-port chargers, extension cords, wireless docks, and very low-current devices may affect automatic cut-off behavior.
Is BrightZero Smart Plug certified, and do you have the relevant compliance documents?
Yes. BrightZero Smart Plug is CE-marked, and BrightCharger maintains the relevant compliance documentation, including the Declaration of Conformity and related certification and product compliance materials. Such documentation is provided where reasonably needed for business, compliance, retail, distributor, or authority purposes.

Is BrightZero® Smart Plug the only way BrightZero is offered?
No. BrightZero® Smart Plug is currently BrightCharger’s main own product, but BrightZero® is also developed for integration and licensing into other product categories, including smart plugs, socket outlets, chargers, and charger control components.
